Assistant Professor at Plaksha University | Ph.D. from IIT Jodhpur

Dr. Ankur is currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Plaksha University, Mohali. He earned his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur, where he was mentored by Dr. Debasis Das from IIT Jodhpur and Prof. Sajal K. Das from Missouri University of Science and Technology, USA.

Ankur's research focuses on the design and optimization of scalable, secure, and intelligent network architectures spanning Software-Defined Networking (SDN), 5G/6G core, and Internet routing (BGP) systems. He aims to develop adaptive control-plane mechanisms and efficient resource allocation mechenism, congestion avoidance, and low-latency data delivery in heterogeneous networks. His broader objective is to advance programmable and self-healing network infrastructures integrating edge/fog computing and network intelligence for real-time applications.
